Mike, you might want to play around with the display set to OFF with the REF 10, For my part I find a subtle yet percievable improvment on performance.
 
A hearty congratulations Mike. I wish we were so blessed here in the Portland, OR area to have brick & mortar on the scale you've brought to S. Florida.

How fast can you turn your shop into a fallout shelter? Stay safe! I hear you have a potentially shitty weekend ahead.

Thanks guys! It's all ARC day at Suncoast Audio. Got to get some hours on these new babies. I have every ARC piece going right now. Ha!

As for the hurricane, yeah, even Floridians are concerned about this one. She's a big sucker.

Congrats, Mike.

ARC really turned a corner sonically recently. Not the dry, whitish sound of the past 20 years.

Hope everything will be ok and Irma will somehow miss you guys through some mystic intervention.

It's a bit like being in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Chocolate Factory being under attack.

Huge Congratulations Mike, and as others i wish your and Floridians a safe weekend.

I would like to hear what you think ARC Ref.6 does with Lumin .... I haven't heard ARC before i some months ago visited a dealer to listen til Wilson Audio speakers and he ran them with ARC Ref. 6 and ARC Ref.150 using the CD9 and a cheaper TT ..but waouu was i taken aback. :)

It's sounding splendid with the Lumin. Like you, I was "taken back" by the REF6. Its like my beloved REF5SE, but only BETTER!

Most definitely can attest to that! Good luck with the new product line, it will be a massive hit for sure. Can't wait for you to demo the S7's with the Ref250SE's and hear your feedback....

If I ever do get back down there, I will be sure to let you know. It would be wonderful to meet you, check out the store, and see all of the changes to the area since I was there last.

Being a previous Floridian, and having spoken to many friends and family scattered around FLA, this is definitely one NOT to take lightly.

Audio Research gives you that tube like tonality with solid state slam and dynamics. My engineer friend was pointing out the generous transformers used in ARC products. I really love ARC sound. I'm still sitting here with my jaw hanging open listening to the REF6. The REF10 we know is world class, but I just can't believe how much of a performance the REF6 is over the REF5SE.
