Streamer for Esoteric K-05XD

It depends on what interface you are using. The the custom streamers I'm building, I'm using either dedicated Ethernet card or USB card. USB card is for those that connect to their DACs via USB and Ethernet card is for those that connect to their DACs via Ethernet (for Roon Ready devices).

I'm using Jcat Ethernet card (with dedicated internal OCXO clock), which has two Ethernets ports, which allows me to set one of the ports in bridge mode. This way you can connect via Ethernet directly to your DAC - skipping the switch and getting rid of all non-audio related traffic.

The PSU is the fundation of every audio component, server included. Just look at Taiko or Pink Faun.

This is a linear ATX psu (one that uses linear regulators to get all native voltages needed for the MoBo, ie. 3.3V, 5V and 12V, without a noisy DC-DC converter like PicoPSU or similar), with 320.000uF filter capacitance and a 250VA fully shielded toroid transformer.

Another shielded 80VA power transformer feeds two more, ultra low noise linear PSU for the Jcat card (USB or Ethernet) and dedicated Jcat clock, with two banks of 2x450F Super Capacitors to stabilise the voltage and provideultra low (3mOhm) output impedance.

All adds up to 14kgs.
