Strads in Walnut

This is my favorite Sonus speaker to date, the Stradivari in walnut.

The guy made speaker looks so small.

Speaker terminals tell me Strads and the size looks about right. Mind you an Elipsa SE in walnut would work for me also, hope someone is listening.

"Rosso violin" or graphite for me. Still, the walnut is also beautiful.

Time for a little Sonus Faber story. I have owned a pair of graphite Stradivari - and although I love the violin red of Sonus Faber I have to say that in this particular speaker the black finish was my preferred. At that time I got them used through a dealer. The original owner owned the Red Violin Stradivari, but one day he walked in the shop with his wife and she saw this pair of graphite Stradivari and did not hesitate - they immediately got it!

Guys the original Homage series finish is walnut, even if it only appeared on one model until recently.

Gotcha. My question was more of whether you can still buy Strads new. I guess you can! Did they just retire the Anniversarios?
