StillPoint Ultra 5's

I've lived with the Stillpoints under my D3s for 2 weeks now, getting used to the sound differences. It sounded very detailed and accurate. I felt I had lost some musicality. As I call it "my toe tap test". But man did it sound great.

I decided it was time to take the Stillpoints out tonight and son of a gun - immediately my toe tap factor came back and I had music back. Yes - I lost some detail but - who cares if you don't want to listen to your system.

Verdict - no stillpoints under Raidho D3s.

Hello Jock, how did you set the Stillpoints under the Raidhos?
 
I put 2 in front and 1 in back under the stand itself and not under their pointy things.

I found the Ultra 5s were about 1/4" taller than Raidho pointy things. So the height worked out good.
 
Jock. I decide to not to use the Ultra SS under my speakers either. Now they are all under my components only.
 
The bolt thread for recent ARC products is 8-32.
Ultra mini come standard with 8-32 but if you want to go higher you should ask for the ¼-20 to 8-32 adapter

I hope to have Stillpoints Apertures later this week. As a huge fan of Ultra Vs, I look forward to the Apertures which I auditioned a few weeks ago. Will post.
