I hope everyone has functioning bone chains in your middle ears. The ossicles, as they are called, represents three individual bones. The Malleus, Incus and Stapes (latin). They are 7,7mm, 6,5mm and 3,2mm in maximum length.
Without them one can`t hear.
Isn`t it interesting what small things can do for your hearing?

Just for kicks, earlier tonight, I trimmed a wooden dowel to exactly 8mm in diameter and 8mm tall, just like the HFT. I didn't spend the time to cut the funnel into it, but it is the height and diameter of them as specified by the manufacturer.

Check out the photos. I placed one on a speaker as seen from a distance closer than I sit when I listen (look VERY closely to the left of the red bar to see the tiny spec-put on your glasses!), a close up on the speaker and one sitting on a ruler so you can see the actual size.

This is room treatment???
Just how many of these will I need???
