After being together for 8 years and cohabitating for 6 with my significant other, we finally got married this weekend. We got engaged in April of this year. Had a blast. Our friends and family came from 9 countries, spanning 3 continents, and all over the US. The venue at the Crane Estate in Ipswich on the north shore of Boston was spectacular. Most importantly it seems like most everyone had a blast among our 150 guests. My only regret is that my parents, both of whom passed in last 5 years, we're not there physically with us to celebrate but they were of course in my family's hearts and minds.

I thought I would share the news with my AS friends and I'll be sure to post a few photos once we get them from our photographers.

The only thing I am still getting used to is wearing a wedding band. I have never ever in my life worn a piece of jewelry (ring, bracelet, necklace...) in my life, so this thing is kind of driving me crazy right now [emoji57][emoji12]

Cyril,

Congratulations and very best wishes for many years of happiness.

I hear you on the jewelry thing. I can't wear anything either. When I need a watch, I keep a plastic Casio in my pocket.

Cyril - congratulations! That's wonderful news. Tell us a little about your significant other.

As for the jewelry - I totally agree! Mine drives me nuts too.

Wow! Cyril, huge congratulations. I'm so happy for you.

Mike,

Brenna is of Irish American descent. She grew up in Salem 40 mins north of Boston. Irish American and Boston....hmmm....go figure [emoji57]

She manages a team of Business Analysts in the IT Department at Boston Children's Hospital. Some of the projects they do are truly cutting edge. Anyway, she's also finishing up her last year in a part-time MBA program with a concentration in Healthcare at Simmons.

I'll post pics when we get them. [emoji106]

Thanks Cyril. Sounds like a wonderful person. So happy for you both. Hopefully she likes music too and can tolerate an audiophile.

She does like music but doesn't really get the way us audiophile's choose to experience it but she's fully supportive of my hobby, along with my new obsession with guitars [emoji6]

Thx Mike [emoji106]

Congratulations Cyril on tying the knot! It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy :yahoo1:

Cyril - Congratulations to you and Brenna. Hope you have many years of love, health and happiness.
