Who do they think they are fooling with this fake discount sale? Don’t share with everyone else? Everyone got it!

Do they really think people are that stupid?

OK, I'm an idiot. I used the password they provided in the email and followed the link. Everything looked legit when I got there but I'm not in the market for their top-of-the-line stuff.

This is the email I received:

I don't think it is a spammer, just PS Audio lying to us. I believe that is Mike's point. Anyway I deleted unread this morning.
 
As you can tell from my signature, I'm fairly familiar with PS Audio and I'm still confused as to what they're lying about.
 
I would have checked it out but I like my Vandy 7 Mk2’s too much to pass DC through them.

How I read it was this exclusive group is getting some extra special deal for a very limited time... which is complete BS... anyone could get the same deal.

I have meet Paul and spoken with Ted. I have also owned PS Audio gear. I have no animosity to these guys but the mailing is non-sense. It is not this super secret deal for me because I am so special... it is a sale that anyone can get... ok, cool... don't make it out like they picked me because I am so special. Be up front and honest... that simple.
 
OK, now I understand what you're talking about, and it makes sense. I was thinking that you were suggesting that it's some kind of bait and switch scam. You bring up a good point; I'm sure that anyone with the money would be able to get their "exclusive" deal.
 
Exactly... not meant as a big negative to PS Audio... I just am not a fan of BS advertising. They would have a much better chance of getting me to purchase another piece from them by being up front and honest with me.
 
How is this being dishonest? Now that PSAudio is direct can you buy their product online at a discount in US? Sure before when there were dealers you could get deals.
The offer is for anyone with the password which I can go on a purchase thru their site at a reduction.
