Saturday morning listening session

I am loving the McIntosh MC75 mono tube amplifiers. Morning sun, morning coffee, morning music with the living room system. Life is good.

Dan, good to see you getting so much enjoyment out of your system. I can't wait to enjoy my new system like you're doing. There are few pleasures better than listening to great music over a great high end audio system.

p.s. jeans and socks inside? Must keep the A/C really low. I'm sockless/shorts 90% time at home, even with the A/C at 75.
 
AJ.......Thank you. The way the living room is set up is about the only way I could make the sound system work. As unusual as it is I get an excellent sound stage and imaging at that sweet spot on the couch. I have acoustic panels and base traps in the room which help to produce good sound under less than optimal circumstances. Everyone who has heard this system has been amazed. Heck, I'm amazed. I am fortunate to also have my dedicated two channel room downstairs in the studio. There's plenty of good music in this house.

As for temperature, I keep the house at 79° day and night. Ceiling fans running on low keep the air moving just enough so I am comfortable at that temperature.
 
Nice setup Dan. I also sat back and had a listening session Saturday morning. Listened to the new Patricia Barber album and a old Doobie Brothers album The Captain and Me.

Mike.......One glimpse at your avatar tells me you enjoy plenty of great music in your home, too. My living room sound system has never sounded better than it does today. The MC75 tube power amplifiers have noticeably raised the performance level. I am so pleased with what I am experiencing.

Mike.......Thank you. Saturday morning listening sessions are the perfect way to begin a weekend. Being retired, every morning is Saturday morning. As I walk through the living room on my way to make coffee in the kitchen I automatically press the power button on the sound system and let it warm up for a few minutes. I grind my coffee beans, get the coffee brewing, and move to the couch for some morning music. Liz Story is playing piano for me as I write this post.
