S.E.T. - I am obsessed now ....

Can't say that I agree. :( DS9 IMHO trumped them all. As we all now, this series was closer to what Roddenberry actually envisioned for ST.

Hi Myles,

Understood, I'm merely referring to said actor, being a diehard Trekkie at heart, I must admit to watching all of them, but having studied graphic arts, the special effects over the last decade are awesome in my book, but being a Sci-Fi nut as well, I can say that some of the remakes have left me wanting - case in point - Dark Shadows..............., I mean come on, a comedy!, yet I'm looking forward to Dacula Untold, with fingers and toes crossed, and loved X-Men - Days of Future Past, but as always, even this can be seen as subjective.

This thread is like the twilight zone. I thought the topic was set amps. Not people who are "set" in their ways.

Good point Chris,

Lets " SET " the record straight, you're correct. But whom amongst us, aren't " SET " in their ways?. Anywho.........., back to said topic at hand.

Long live " SET Amps ", it took the Japanese and French to remind us of something we once had, then lost, and finally have gone full circle to adore once again, such is the cycle of life.

LoL

Too static with the Aliens too. Dominions/Bajorans and (Kim) Cardassians? Come on, each episode of Voyager you were almost guaranteed new species to interact with and now physical phenomena. The Dominion pales in comparison to the Borg Queen Unamatrix, Hirogen Imperium, the beings of the Nekrid expanse and dark matter, the Phage sufferers and even the lowly Kazon.

Then when it came to phenomena and energy forms, the Delta Quadrant rules...graviton emissions, quantum singularities/event horizons, Polaric energy, dark matter, folding space, etc. Just more fun.

It was never a narrowly focussed topic to start with. Right now its taking a breather until someone puts a new perspective out there that will re-ignite interest.

In any case, the surest way to get a thread back on track is to post interesting points related to the instant topic. Bellyaching about it is also "off track".

Want it on track? Contribute something ON track.

Seriously? Its part of my job as the Admin to keep threads on topic as best as possible. Taking lip from people like you is not why I do this. Consider this a warning. Your first and last.

You talking to me Mike?

Because I was not addressing you. Non-admin people who bellache without trying to bring the posts back on track are doing what exactly?
