Rmaf 2015

I will be there on Friday morning, leaving Saturday night. I hope I can finally hear a Lampizator Big 7 after reading SOOO much chatter about it. Will the Magico S7 be there?

Yes, but from what I read, you will have to take a shuttle to the other hotel to hear the Magico S7's.

It's always a little difficult to isolate the DAC in a system, but I think you will get a taste.

I just downloaded the latest list of exhibits for the show. It's the longest and most comprehensive list I have seen since I first attended the show 4 years ago. It's going to be exciting!

With regards to the Magico demos at the Hyatt, it is also a short 5 minute walk. Wilson demoed the XLFs at the Hyatt several years ago.

Lastly, I had to change my plans yesterday. Unfortunately, I'm not getting to Denver until Fri eve (6:30pm); however, I will be there most of Sunday. Joining you guys for dinner on Fri is still very possible.

I'd welcome the opportunity to put faces to shark names. Too bad we don't have Shark logo name badges to wear.

It's a very walkable distance but Magico is providing shuttle service for attendees convenience. Same place that hosted some exhibits a two years ago (?).

We were one of those rooms in 2013. The room itself was fantastic, better than the conference rooms at the main hotel, but traffic was terrible.

It's a very short walk unless you have some type of disability. I predict I could walk there faster than people could get loaded onto the bus, wait for the traffic signal, drive to the Hyatt, and get off the bus. I will already be inside sitting in the room.

Could also be raining! :)

I'm looking forward to the S7 demo. Would love to hear them again. I'm staying at the Hilton, right between the two other hotels!:snicker:

Triode Wire Labs is very proud to be exhibiting again with Tortuga Audio in RMAF Room 1013 along with Volti Audio as well as BorderPatrol Audio Electronics.

We will also be in Room 1102 with Volti Audio and BorderPatrol Audio Electronics.

Come down to hear some great, dynamic music!

Cheers,
Pete

After skipping last year I am hoping I'm able to get thru most of the rooms Friday and Saturday. (i have to catch a 6:30am flight Sunday to get back for a Mark Knopfler concert that night). There are many rooms I just stick my head in knowing there is nothing I care to see. Then again there are always several I want to go back for a second listen.

Jim/All,

I've been looking at the list of products on the RMAF site. I'm interested in seeing/listening to the following: (no particular order)

- ARC - GS
- DAG
- Boulder
- Avantgarde
- Nola - new KOs
- DCS - new Rossini
- Harberths - the 40.1s
- Lampizator - GG and B7
- Bricasti
- Aurender
- Wilson
- Magico - S7 at the Hyatt
- Rowland
- MSB
- Zesto - new mono amp - typically good sounding room
- Lumin
- Volti
- Focal
- Rowland
- Esoteric
- Ayre - hope they have real music playing and not the decorated rooms from years past with little to show/listen
- Harman - new Mark Levinson and JBL Everest
- YG - haven't been a big fan in the past but the new YG have been reviewed favorably

This is an initial pass. Reality is that with only 1.5 days, this is quite a list. Feel free to comment/add any others that could be interesting.

Thx!

Great list Mike!

I'm really looking forward to Avantgarde. I also want to hear the VAC room. I'm curious about the Magico's and Rockport's. I always enjoy hanging out with Greg in the Volti room. The new NOLA KO's will also be fun to hear.

There's always a few good surprises at RMAF. Looking forward to it!

I kindly ask everyone to post their pictures. Thanks!! :celebrate008_2:

I hope everybody here stops by room 2024. We've put together a lineup that I think will seriously turn some heads! We have incredible supporting gear from LampizatOr for the DAC and their 211 Balanced monoblocks, an Antipodes music server, and Verastarr cables. But as the speaker guy, I have to say the Perfect Storm White loudspeakers we're bringing aren't just great, they're the best speakers I've ever heard period. What I've been hearing from them in my own system is the most authentic musical reproduction I've experienced to date. The combination of resolution, refinement, and effortless dynamics create a illusion of realism that is breathtaking.

Yes, I'm tooting my own horn ... but come by for yourself and tell me I'm wrong :D
