Revel Studio2 - a wonderful speaker ... Wow!

I just hooked up the Dagostino and this is how I feel.... start at 1:46

 
Wow....I would love to own a pair of those.....Oh WAIT...I do. Listened today with the ARC 150 and then switched over to the Mac 452. Both sound fantastic.

Also added a Shunyata Hydra AV and Tara Labs jumpers.... today. I am amazed.
 
Nice Joe! Looking forward to reading your thoughts on where they fit, sonically, among the other great speakers you've owned over the past.

So far I really like what I am hearing. It has been a long time since I've had full size speakers in this room. They can pressurize the room nicely and the tweeters seem very smooth. I think with a little more break in I'll be able to get a better handle on the sound. Some of the excitement needs to wear off so I can be more objective. I love the fact that they have tweeter and bass controls for room placement and overall response preference.

I've been fortunate to find some gear that is off the chart great and reasonably priced like these studio2 and the Job 225. Just incredible.

I am not ready to pronounce he winner but overal it's giving everything else a run for its money. I could easily live with these babies.

There is a very good reason why I posted this post before.
 
Joe, I know what you mean about the room loading effect of full range floor standers. I'm just getting used to mine 2 weeks after switching from the bookshelf speakers. They really are a great looking box too.

Congrats Joe! Beautiful speakers for sure and they look right at home with the rest of your top-notch gear. You have a lot of listening time ahead of you as you swap all of the different combos in and out of your system. Enjoy! :woot:

Today will be day 2 with the Studios and the DAG stereo amp. Love to read your thoughts on the combo.
