I had a pair several years ago, sold them and missed them ever since. Well, the opportunity presented itself for another pair and there was no way I'd pass it up. Today is a wonderful day. I'm ecstatic.

Joe what qualities do you like about the Revel that other speakers you have had hasn't been able to produce?

Congratulations Joe! Brilliant idea getting both ends of the Harman line in JBL and Revel. The Studio 2 are absolutely wonderful speakers.

Enjoy,
Ken

That's a great way to look at it. Thank you Ken. I love these things.

It's not exactly like that but to my ear, the Studio2/Salon2 don't do anything wrong. A great, solid performing speaker. There's no doubt that the Strads are "better". But, these are so easy to listen to, have such a long term easy listening character and a tweeter that's a little softer, rounder and not as pronounced as some. The overall character is one of completeness. Sized right for my room helps too.

Dave,

Beautiful setup. Thank you so much. You get it. I know. They are absolutely wonderful and I am sure awesome with the Rogue amps. I had the M-120's or M-150's many moons ago. Wonderful amps. Probably perfect for the Studio2.

I auditioned the Studio 2 and loved them, the only speaker my wife actually commented on, she thought they looked good. I couldn't afford them at the time.

I have the 4367's now, then a chance to get the Studio or even the Salon at a big discount but I didn't think I'd be happy without my JBL's.

What do you think Joe, if you had to let go of either the Studio or the 4367, which wouldit be? I know it's a hard coice because they are different.

Hi Joe,

Does this mean a Pass X-350.8 may follow? :D Huge synergy between Revel and Pass Labs.

Best,
Ken

Ha! The thought did cross my mind. Problem is that I want McIntosh for my Strads so I'm a little confused. I had little time to think about the Studio2 but always promised myself that I'd buy them if the opportunity presented itself.

The Pass X-350.8 will sound wonderful with all your speakers. It's a very versatile amp and delivers a lot better bass and less heat than the XA.8 series.

Ken

Oh boy, I don't know. Honestly it would be difficult choosing between the two as I love them both. I'd probably sell my Strads first :)

Both the 4367 and Studio2/Salon2 are great.

Joe,

Man, what a collection of amps and speakers you have over there! Your gear would make most audio stores blush in comparison. It must be very hard to decide what to listen to with so many great choices.

Best,
Ken

I do get a little overwhelmed but it sure is fun. It really keeps me entertained :)

Joe,

I'm kind of the same way with digital sources with my Esoteric, ARC and incoming Berkeley. Different sound for different music and moods.

Ken

Congrats Joe, can't deny true love, can you? [emoji3]
