Hope my tubes don't read about this "tube closet" business. They won't like the fact they have to live in cardboard boxes divided by type.
For those so talented it looks pretty easy to make your own, I suspect for well less than $100
Nice. I see you have mono clocksI just finished my diy laser disc (same size as lp's) shelf as I was running out of space too. 2 x 4's and pine shelving is cheap but it took me a while to notch out the 2 x 4's. I don't know how to use a router so I used a wood chisel and hammer. And a hand saw. At least I used a power drill for the screws. Okay, I'm not a woodworker but it turned out to be strong and looks okay from a distance. If you look close the notches look like they were made by a beaver.:disbelief: If I was ambitious I would fill all the gaps and paint it. Everything is nice and square so it would turn out nice. Maybe I'll do that in the summer when I can open the windows when I paint it.
Anyone that's been to my house lately knows that I've run out of room with my records. I've been looking around for a solution. Of course, the defacto standard is the IKEA KALLAX. I look at some others like Mapleshade and Wax stacks. But this one really caught my eye, so I decided to order it:
