Question about lumin D2

I think it should work on either USB port.

You need to get into the D2 setup menu under the gear icon and make sure you see the USB hard drive.

1. No damage. However, it's best to open the cabinet to let air flow.
2. In library selection, please find "Lumin D2 USB Music Server" and select it.

If you don't see that selection, please make sure the USB storage is in NTFS. If it is in exFAT, it must have one partition to be seen. And try both USB ports.
 
I don't think it's been mentioned, but just in case - Make sure there is only a single partition on the disk.

Hey, if you want to use Tidal music on other device, you could try this way- using an AudFree Tidal Audio Converter to help you. With it, you can get the Tidal music as local files and then get them to USB for using on other devices.
