My mom. She played violin. I lost her when I was six. Would be nice to get to know her. (And two, my great great uncle Antonin Dvorak. It would be interesting to know him as well.)

That's a nice memory Bobvin. It sounds like you are from a very musical heritage as well. That's special.

My choice would be Fontella Bass. No claims to her being the greatest but she has interested me for years. Love her solo releases and her work with the Art Ensemble of Chicago. There's her tempestuous marriage to Lester Bowie and then her final (I think) work with the Cinematic Orchestra.

Yep, lots to talk about and, more importantly, sing about.

The Mozart pick is an excellent one, too. Simply love, love, love his piano concertos and sonatas.
