Pre-amps with built in DAC and Phonostage

Hmmm

This reminds me.

Maybe you could get a Classe CP-800 dac preamp to use with a JOB225? 2 shelves? You could probably find a combo thats pretty close to your family room.

Yeah, you're right, not she-she enough for me! LMAO.

Now, let me get back to my JOB225 and classe preamp. :)

If it were my money I would be going Accuphase integrated E-560 or E-460 and add the DAC and phono modules.
Huge WAF as well

Mike...C50 works fine for me. EQ features helps fine tune some bad recordings. Can't complain... so far so good. I heard c2500 sounded very musical with the right source. But I would like to know if it match well with D3's.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I'm torn between Accuphase e-600, Vitus R-100, VAC 300.1a and a preamp or Goldmund T28 and a preamp.

Hi Mike,

Of course I'd have to recommend you my own choice (again): the Audionet DSP. Pre-amp, phono-stage, DAC and streamer. When I ordered it the factory asked my dealer which cartridge I use so they can pre-configure it to be the best match. Great sound!

The circuit board on the upper right with all the red components is the phono stage.

What about this idea: a Linn Akurate DSM modified by German engineer Gert Volk. The so called G-Mod's.

Apparently the phono stage is very good.

Mike, this is another one you'd might consider. The Ayon S5. Pre-amp, DAC, streamer, with tubes.. Great Austrian engineering!

Love the design!

Linn is also a very good Kolution. ...solution

This too looks seriously worthy of consideration.

Hi Hans! :hi:

Hi Bob,
I love my DNP. Amazing sound, great features. With the free CARMA software you can even measure your room acoustics and correct from your laptop. It took me a while to understand but with some help from other audio nuts on a German forum I was able to do the correct measurements and reduce some acoustics related rumble.

As you can see I had some long decay on 22 Hz and 63 Hz. With this software you can just reduce the exact frequency on dB and Q factor. And while you can do direct synchronization you can immediately hear the result while listening to the music. the result: better definition in bass and really short dry bass. You can also measure and set subwoofer settings for mono and stereo subs and everything you do is per channel or source. So in my case I automatically have the Sub on when watching TV / DVD / Apple TV.

Definitely with trying. This is mine:

After today, I'm leaning towards an Accuphase integrated. See my review.
