PMC IB2i speakers are in my vehicle.

Thanks guys now almost done ( 60% ) on my set up in basement. Still needs some work to do. More pictures on my Members Audio system thread :)

Looks awesome Paul. I used to own a pair of IB2's. Sweet mid range and kick ass bass.

Congratulations on the gorgeous pair of PMCs! I know it is still early and more needs to be done before the set up is optimized. Vienna Acoustics The Music is a speaker that intrigues me. You are a long term owner. I would love to know your initial impressions on how the sound of The Music compares to the PMC IB2i.

I fully realize that others have their preferences, but personally twin McIntosh MC275's driving a pair of PMC IB2i's is just about as good as it gets, especially for the common man.

Well...The Music speakers are my main speakers and I love everything about them....I don't think I can compare with PMC to VA Music. They are totally different animal. If I have to live with one speakers it would be the VA Music.

I went to Angie's corner and she had a SF Strads on display and as a previous owner of Elipsa I always wanted to have a Strads one day. So I asked if I should upgrade my Music speakers to Strads ? she replied " That's not an upgrade Paul. I would keep the Music over the Strads" and she is selling both brands. Its keeper for sure for me at least :)

I'm so sorry Joe ...I didn't mean to hurt your feeling....I know you have a special feeling about the Strads....I love them too...

However do you remember Mike's comment about the strads ? He said " If I listen to Classical music only ? I would keep the strads forever..." Oops did I hurt your feeling again ??? :D
 
The Strads are great speakers - but they never did rock well. I think Joe, you should try to own them. You had such an emotional connection every time you've heard them. That says it all.
