This will be the official thread for Pink Faun Owners to post questions and comments concerning the Pink Faun Scion, Ultra, Dual Ultra, accessories, cables, etc.

To kick it off, a few updates:

- The MSB ProISL Pink Faun Fiber Card continues to receive overwhelmingly positive accolades from customers. It is a major upgrade over other interfaces. If you have ANY MSB DAC (post 2015), you really owe it to yourself to look into an Ultra or Dual Ultra.
- Official Press Release here: https://pink-faun-bv.email-provider.eu/web/tdrfs32noy/cktnrauuik?lp-t=1763127255
- QoBuz Connect will be coming for all Pink Faun Music Servers by the end of the year (probably by the end of this month).
- Pink Faun was represented at CAF 2025 this weekend and at recent shows in Poland, Spain, etc.
- The World Premier Pink Faun Scion Review was posted here: . An excellent review. (The reviewer purchased the review sample).
- Magico purchased a Pink Faun Dual Ultra for their listening room in California.
- MSB is showing the new Sentinel with the Pink Faun Dual Ultra
- There are now many dealers across the US and Canada representing Pink Faun and getting their customers orders filled in timely manner. If you’re thinking about a Pink Faun, reach out and we can put you in touch with the closest dealer.
- The Absolute Sound has just finished reviewing the Pink Faun Scion. The review will go public shortly. It is beyond impressive. I will post the link when it goes live.

I have had 3-4 servers in my system over the years. I never noticed any significant changes in sound quality with each introduction. until......Pink Faun's Ulta. Based solely on Mike's recommendation and enthusiasm for a brand that was totally unknown to me, I made the investment and was rewarded in a big way. Whatever PF is doing, it works.

So this model is superior to my Aurender N20?
Would be great to consolidate into one source and stop messing with other pieces. And be able to use ROON as my only music source.
Mike will the Scion give me that and better the N20?

I've been unable to find a good picture of the back of the Pink Faun Scion. Their website has as far as I can find only one picture of the the Scion and it's a angled view of the front. I've seen on some videos a passing shot of the back and its connections. But no clear shots or views. I've done a google search and that was of no help. Does anyone (hint hint Mike) have a picture of the back of the Scion?!

I’ll take one for you no problem.

Hi Darrel, we prepared two units today for next week’s photoshoot. It’s the same company that handled our 2.16 ultra shoot and specializes in high-end product photography. I’ll share some examples as soon as I have them. Br Jord

Very cool. I see in the manual that it is recommended to plug the unit straight into the wall. Is that to have better control to the power supply?

Oh, welcome. And by the way which one is Pink?

Hello Darrel, Pink Faun music server/streamer are engineered to operate at the highest possible performance level without relying on external power regenerators, isolators, or conditioners. The foundation of this approach is our in-house–designed linear power supply and grounding architecture.

Our linear power supplies provide exceptional noise rejection, stable voltage delivery, and extremely low output ripple. Optimized transformer design, high-quality rectification, extensive filtering, and carefully implemented regulation, the power supply already functions as a effective filter for noise. This ensures that the sensitive digital circuits inside our music server/streamers receive the cleanest power possible, without needing additional external devices.

Experience has shown us that in most systems the best musicality, and more important dynamics are achieved when our products are connected directly to the mains. We do recommend proper grounding and the use of a dedicated power line for the audio system, as these help maintain optimal performance. But introducing extra power regenerators or isolation products often brings no benefit and can even restrict dynamics or alter the natural flow of the music.

Of course, there are exceptions—unique environments with severe electrical issues may still benefit from external solutions. But as a rule, your starting point should always be a direct connection from your dedicated power line. Our products are designed to perform at their best this way. Br Jord
