Pictures of your room

I am really 'bad' in making pictures... but herewith an overview of the room. The sideview from the electronics is the last one I made (somewhere in August last year), but overall it gives a good impression of the room :)

Greetings from the Netherlands :hey:

Your system looks great and you did a better job than me getting a full photo. I only managed thumbnails.

The room contains various acoustic treatments built by myself based on a design from Rives.

Argh, Rives. There is a company that folded ungracefully, taking my substantial deposit with them with no notice what so ever. I had contracted with them when I first was exploring my acoustic remodel.

Hi Howie,

Great looking setup and I’m sure it sounds amazing. Congrats!

Seeing your Kondo monos and Koda k15-EX pre brought back memories and a tinge of regret for having traded them.

Enjoy in good health Howie.

Thanks Carlos. The amps are not mine (yet). Still trying to decide what to drive Gobels with.

Nice room setup too Howie. I like your leather seats and your LPs wall.
Thanks!

WOW Howie.

Awesome system man. How are the Gobel's? Always liked them at the HK show, but never really heard them properly.

95db efficiency allows you to use those magnificent Kondo SE amps.

cheers Shane

Shane, found that they still prefer some oomph. So far the Koda K70 amps sound the best...

Hi from Polish countryside:)
I really enjoy all rooms, very interesting thread indeed.

Bob, Sorry to learn about your misfortune with Rives and that you lost financially. I guess they over committed themselves when they purchased that speaker company. But that doesn’t help customers such as yourself. I was lucky I suppose timing wise as their level 2 design worked well for me.

Glad to hear you persevered and found someone else to help with designing your room. It looks great and I bet it helps extract the last bit of performance from your Alexia speakers. I’m always surprised by how well the XLFs perform in my treated room.

Great to see so many amazing systems. WOW! I really feel this is what separates Audioshark. Our members not only have systems (and aren’t all talk about building a system), but our members have great systems and great experience. No drive by experiences here. Fabulous to see! Keep them coming!

The mountain redoubt ... Salon2/Classe CTM600s/EMMPre2/Aurender A10/Ayre DX5/Audience power and wire
(Can't get the Ipad to take a picture of the inside and the outside at the same time, so there's an approximation of the view to the right of the system)

Just ditched the node 2i in the past week and added a roon set up. Brooklyn DAC+, SGC Itransporter 5, and an ultrarendu with LPS.

I've been without music for nearly 3 months now. My psyche has a dent, I am irritable & too confrontational. For now, I will explore the world of Schiit with OB speakers & WB generators. It's been that long even the cat is listening on the back lawn. When the real bass kicks in she turns her head....
