Haha, you beat me to it, Mike! I just got back, had a great time there. What day(s) were you there?

Mike took some great pics and I took many of the same (but his are better!). Adding a few non-duplicates I have:

Mike/Allen...thanks for the pics

When you get a chance, would love to hear which rooms sounded especially good to you. Thx again.

I like a smooth, warm sound, with great imaging, especially on vocals. The two rooms that were standouts to me where the Audionote/Kondo room and the TAD Ref 1/Viola/Emm Labs room.

This is the Kondo room:

The tweeter interestingly is a brass horn. It had a totally box-free sound with fantastic imaging. On really high notes it could sound a bit harsh to my ears, but like I said, I like a slightly warm sound. Spent a lot of time in this room.

The TAD Ref 1 room was presented by Ciamara, a retailer based in NY. The TAD Ref 1s sounded open, quick, imaged well, and had a nice warm sound. Depending on what was playing, sometimes too warm, but that could also be the room playing tricks. Sanjay Patel, the owner, said they were expecting over 2 dozen traps in the rooms, but only got about 6.

YG Acoustics also sounded pretty good to me. The entry level model, the Carmel I think, was driven by Solutions electronics and that sounded fantastic! Red Wine Audio, battery powered electronics, mated very nicely with Harbeth speakers, too.

It's always tough to judge sound at a show. Plus there was construction going on during the show that often interfered with listening. But these are the rooms I spent most time in. YMMV.
