Listened to both Vitus kit and Ayre VX R amp ARC Ref 5SE pre and I liked the later best .
With 89DB I don't think you can't go wrong. Never heard them together but the 275's never disappointed me yet
Vitus with the S5 was great though

Dan....PMC IB2i's - I'm really enjoying listen to them as well. They are different than any other speakers I ever owned. It really makes me feel like I'm in studio. Anyway I would love to bring down my ref speakers and compare with them.

I should have mentioned "in the whole world".
Even before I've read the other posts that's what I was going to add, but then even better.
It is indeed a fact that everyone here at the shark aquarium is well behaved.

Bob & Dan..... Die Muzik is still in one piece and looks fantastic in bigger room .... funny thing is somehow it looks even bigger in here than my smaller room :weird: ..However I need to go to massage therapy tomorrow to make a happy ending (?)

Paul, I'm not asking for pictures; I know you enough, I think.
And pictures of your back being massaged by your message therapist (a pretty young woman perhaps) would be a bonus.

My friend came to my home with his ASC bass traps ( 2 X 16" , 2 X 11" , 2X 9" ) and tried in my system. ( Coz I really didn't want to spend the $ 3,000 on these expensive bass traps without trying ) I was really hoping to work
ray: ...Nah...Didn't do much things It helped on mid and high but the problem with bass was still there...
I talked with another person and he recommended to purchase the" Roxul" so I did. Went out to home depot and go to home dumped behind my speakers and listened for a 10 mins.
Seems like these one is working( even vinyl cover is on ) I will update the results.
So again the expensive stuffs are NOT always better than cheaper ones. YMMV.
