Hey
I’am thinking about an upgrade .I can probably find the money to upgrade my t3 for the new t3x or maybe the x1.
Is it a good idea to buy x1 since there will probably be a new x2 in the near future ?Should I wait ?
It will be an upgrade that should last a long time so maybe it’s not important if the x1 should be replaced i an couple of years . It is still a great streamer .
Any thoughts.

Hello, jcj. Do you have the upgraded external PS for the X1? Honestly, I got the UX1 package so I never tried it with the normal PS to compare. I will say that there really isn't room for much more improvement with the UX1. If the X2 is even slightly better, I would honestly be surprised.

BUT - (and yes, there is a but) I am using the BNC out. If you use another connection, things may be different. I also upgraded the umbilical cord and have a fantastic PC hooked up to it as well, which the UX1 responded very well to.

Thank you for your answers .I did not know about the ux1 just the x1.Do the still make “just” the x1 like they do the t3 or do you automatically get the ux1 if you order the x1 ?
The danish dealers only have the normal t3 and x1 on there websites.

Oh, jeez.....I don't honestly know. Things are different in different countries. The only difference that I know about is a seperate PS that is optimized for said unit. It matches the unit and is awesome.

Their website could stand room for improvement, IMO.

Just want to clear up a little confusion.
Our range of players (i.e. with a DAC) is D3 / T3X / X1
Our range of transports (i.e. no DAC) is U2 Mini / U2 / U2X

X1 and U2X both have the same separate PSUs

It was my understanding when I bought my unit that the X1 came with a separate power supply, but not the upgraded one that (at the time) came with the TOTL unit. When I inquired about getting the upgraded PS (normally a $2500 option), they kept the original PS and put the upgraded PS into a package at a discount. Hence, the UX1 package.

The good thing is that the website is incredibly unhelpful in deciphering all of this.
