One Mans Quest to Revive the Great American Vacuum Tube

Don't sit on a picket fence waiting for this company to start producing affordable audio vacuum tubes. Their track record is horrible.
 
Thanks for the link Joe. What I really want to see is US production of the KT series power tubes. And a price per quad not equal to half the cost of the amp they would go in.
 
Great article. Very interesting. As part of my job I ended up ‘owning’ a photomultiplier vacuum tube production line. One of two in the world. It was very difficult to get quality product until we put in elaborate statistical process control at every step. Then things got way more predictable.
