On my Lordy, Nelson: X250.8 in situ

Why was it in for service? Upgrading or something more?

Hi Kevin, it had the D-boards (front-end) replaced, as there are new 2.0 versions out now, and the bias reset and DC Offset adjusted.

The amp sounds even better now.

Thanks!

The needle should be at 12 o clock. i had the Xa 30.5 and now the xa 100.8 . the needle should be at 12 o clock and moves to the right depicting class AB when load increases. needle being over at left does not make any sonic difference but should be at 12 o clock at start up. this way you will know when the amp drifts into Class AB.

Nice looking (and sounding) system you've got there! May you enjoy it in good health! :congrats:

Thank you, very kind of you.

Really do like the system, but as we all know, with this hobby comes insatiable hunger.

But I try to focus more the music, finding interesting vinyls that are new to me and that sort of thing. Maybe starting to rip them into DSD at some point.
