Okay, what was I saying?

Joe, in the words of the immortal Gene Autry, 'Good to have you back in the saddle again' !

Doing the right thing for family is what life and living is all about, well done !

🙏🏻

This means a lot, thank you. I couldn’t let any more time lapse and wanted to make everyone knows that I’m good and looking forward to some new gear.

Hi everyone,

It’s been a while, but I’m back. I’m really sorry to have disappeared like that, but Mike and I have been keeping in touch.

Life, caretaking and family duties have overridden audio enjoyment, unfortunately. I’ve missed my great stereo system so much. I look forward to enjoying the hobby and more importantly, getting back in touch with everyone.

Mom needed help, so the stereo along with the savings had to go towards her care.

Mom’s in a better place and so am I. Retirement is on the table later this year and I have a lot of options.

I missed everyone but mom needed me.

Now it’s time for myself and some aural excitement :)

Joe

I might have to update my signature, so please bear with me.
Welcome back, Joe. Nice that you're here again.

Cheers.

Even though we talk almost every day, I am so glad you’re back. I’m so sorry your life has been challenging the past few years, but the road ahead is looking good for Joey G!
Amen! I’m in a good place now. It’s exciting for sure.

Hi Joe. Welcome back, you were missed greatly. Have fun putting together another fine system for enjoyment.
Thank you so much, sincerely appreciated. My wheels are already turning 😊

Did you say travel?

I say come to the Florida audio show!!!!! You can use some warm weather about now.

Jock, I definitely need some warmth. I think unfortunately it might be a little too short notice. My brother should be down there again, he just bought a place. I’m trying to see if I can make it happen.

To the OP, you now have the rare opportunity to start anew with your system. Take your time in deciding what to get. And don’t be afraid to defy audiophile dogma! Good luck to you!

Welcome back Joe! I’ve asked Mike regularly about you. Sorry about your mother. Great to have you participating here again.

Also, I’ve met your brother at the Florida Audio Expo. It’s time for you to come down!

Thanks Mike. I’ve missed you guys too.

My brother James is coming back to the show next month (?) my timing is probably bad and not sure if I can make it but I’ll try.

I’m retiring this year, August or December and thinking seriously about moving down to FL. So much going through my mind.

Thank you! Yes! This will be fun. I have to play with all the toys in Mike’s store.
