Robert F. Kennedy at LAX as kid. I shook his hand as he descended the stairway/escalator there. I was so sad when he was murdered.
 
Joe DiMaggio and Mr. Babe Ruth at a Yankee double header in the Bronx circa 1964?
I was a guest in her box. Talk about baseball royalty. Our car saw parts under the old stadium no one else ever saw.
 
Briefly met Muhammed Ali at the Cincinnati Airport. Spent 30-45 minutes talking travel with Whitney Houston in the Executive Lounge in the Shanghai Hilton.
 
Funny story...a good friend and I made our annual pilgrimage to the Vintage guitar show in Orlando Fl. about 8 years ago. While perusing the different guitar booths and drooling over all the goodies we walk into this booth which had 5 or 6 of the most primo guitars BUT they had a large RD inlaid in conspicuous places which will kill the value of such an ax. I open my big mouth and tell my friend “what idiot would put his initials on such nice guitars” A gentleman in the booth speaks up and says they are some of his personal guitars up for sale and introduces himself as Rick Derringer. THEN I notice a tablefull of cassettes ,cds and vinyls by Rick Derringer....duh.
He was very nice and we chatted for a long while about his days with the Edgar Winter group. He also wrote Hang On Sloopy an early fave of mine.
I’m hoping he didn’t hear my rude comment lol Yep the day I insulted one of my guitar gods.
 
Back in 2003, the Wayne Gretzky coached Canada Cup hockey team was invited to play at our country club for Men's night. I got teamed up with Gretzky, Lemieux and Patrick Roy. After the game, we went into the restroom and there were three urinals. I went into the middle one. Gretzky was on my left and Lemieux on my right. I joked, "well, this is the only time in my life that I'll say I centered Gretzky and Lemieux." They both laughed.

I met Patricia Barber after her show and got a picture with her. She is such a nice person and down to earth, it was really a highlight for me. I also got a copy of Smash autographed.

Ran into Jimmy page at wholefoods. Called out, he looked, asked him if I could take a snap, he said I don't do pics, got in the cab with a girl in her 30s, and left.

Funny part is, I said to him, let me shake the hand of the greatest volleyer to ever live. His response: ABSOLUTELY! LoL

I had the good fortune to meet F1 driver Kimi Raikkonen. Also met former F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya.
