Folks,

Its been a while since I posted as I have been too busy but lately I revamped my system a little and brought in a Set of Constellation Centaur Monoblocks with Virgo II preamp and added a pair of Walnut Sonus Faber Aidas. I have never heard the Aidas sing as well as they as do with Constellation audio. The whole system sounds wonderful to me and they only have a bout one hour on them.

Wow. Very nice Howie. Looking at your pics, i'm surprised to see the Aida's so close to the walls. Was that the best sounding position or is it a restriction of where you could put them due to glass doors? Love the chair

Congrats! If it sounds as good as it looks it must be audio heaven

Congratulations! It should be a great system - some of the best existing speakers with the proper electronics, having high power and high quality!
Can I ask you about the cables?

Howie...congrats on the Aida and Constellation gear

Congratulations Howie!! Constellation should sound great with the Aida's. Take you time setting them up. They are not an easy speaker to nail, even the reps take some time getting them dialed in. I like how those rear firing drivers add ambience to the soundstage. Keep us posted.

Thanks! The positioning is a work in progress so to speak. I have to see how much the books and LPs absorb the sound and tweak them slowly. So far I have no complaints sound wise though.

Speaker cables are Nordost Valhalla. I don't know if these are particularly good with this combo but it seems to work so far.
