New! SUPERNAIT 3

Thanks Joe! I was in the "lets keep the box count low" camp for many years with Naim and enjoyed their integrated amps. Then one day I decided to try their separates, just to see how "the other half" lives. Progressed from 252/SuperCap and the 250DR power amp, quickly to the 300DR power amp, and now the preamp will be their best (save the Statement), the 552. 552/300 should be nice! The good thing about Naim is that there IS a market for used equipment.

Not familiar with Naim but is that banana connections for the speakers only?

Yes, but it’s not as bad as you think. The only thing I hate is the speaker inputs cross the wires behind the amp. It just makes cable management a little tougher.

Banana connections for speakers, and DIN for the rest. You get used to it :)

I keep my stack off to the side -- not between the speakers -- so the placement of the speaker connections at the back of the amp is irrelevant. I just prefer this arrangement to the 'stuff between the speakers look' that is pretty prevalent. The Brits all seem to be of the view that its best to avoid the stack between the speakers.

I stick with Naim cables and interconnects, so it's easy. But there are plenty of DIN interconnects from other brands.

Love our NAIM gear and more coming. NAIM is tweaky. But I’ve figured it out and love it!

Are you the first North American dealer to get one to keep?

You can do us a service Mike by letting us know what YOU think are the differences with the SN2.

Not sure on the dealer question. I never had a SN2, so I really can’t say. Just now getting into NAIM in a big way. Love the toe tapping musicality of NAIM. I plan to add a Hi CAP DR, Streamer and XPS PSU.

The SN3 sounds fantastic out of the box. We are trying it on the Fyne’s.

Awesome Mike! Very excited for you and Suncoast Audio.

I still love my SN2 and can imagine how good the SN3 sounds. I loved the 30.1 and SN2 combo. Curious what you feel is the best combo overall.

There were a couple of dealers in the LA area that won best in show using Harbeth 30.1's/30.2's. One used an LFD amp and the other used a Naim SN2. Back in the day my wife's favorite system was Naim SN1 into Harbeth 30.1's. The first time she heard it she turned to me and said "now that is perfect!". That's the first time I ever heard an unsolicited comment about our audio system.

After several years of trying to find satisfaction in something else, I'm back to Naim/Harbeth.

FedEx just delivered ND555/555PS/Super Lumina DIN/DIN/a couple of PowerLines.

It's replacing NDX/XPS DR/Ansuz cables

Congrats on the wonderful NAIM gear. I hope to get to the 5 series one day.

I went too far with the ND555. I should have a Naim Fraim and 500 series amp/preamp to justify the ND555. I meant to use the 555PS with the NDX but wanted to see how Naim's best streamer compared to the Lumin X1 you sold me.

I don’t think you did. NAIM 5 level sources are the starting point for building a 5 series system. As the NAIM folks say, source first.
