New speakers to me

I have been trying to purchase these truly stunning speakers for 5 years now on the pre-owned market (because I don't have $100K lying around:snicker Now I am the proud owner of a pair of Venture Audio Grand Ultimates ! Sorry it has been awhile since I uploaded pics.

I had Venture CR-8 with subwoofers from their Ultimate Reference line.

Thanks, they actually sound better than how they look. Robert Harley and Anthony Cordesman of the Absolute Sound love them.

First, with my CR-8's, I replaced (upgraded) the subwoofers from the Reference series, and that made a huge difference in dynamics, slam, bass articulation and even improved the mid bass/range. The Grand Ultimate just does everything better. Not to be vague, but really everything sounds better. Make an audio list and check off everything that is improved upon.

LOL, I forgot to add (and some members, if not most) understand when I say I decided to go with a standard Porsche Carrera S plus upgrading my audio system, instead of getting a Turbo Porsche. I know my priorities! :audiophile::celebrate008_2:
