greetings from the emerald isle
appreciate any ones thoughts and insights on following
after much moving around the last 10 years//and realising that the iPod/docking speaker was been turned down more and more..
i am about to get myself some hi fi
was initially looking at musical fidelity-M5/M6...arcam A29/A39
i came upon Luxman--and my god the looks are amazing, the reviews blisteringly good and all the forums i checked out are spoken about with passion and love..
so i am searching the net//think i found a dealer in Uk who has the L505U and L507UX
and am also seeking out the L590AX--
have amassed 2000 plus cds and half that in vinyl and its all been kept in storage.
vinyl will be the main source --VPI Scout or Clearaudio concept or ovation are where i'm honing in
have marantz Ud5007 which i will use for CD
Imac for digital stuff---any help on DAC here?
speakers/cables where i am floundering
recently heard and liked Dali Zensor 3--but was with the arcam mentioned earlier
we have but two Hi fi specialists here in Ireland --so its impossible to sample the gear i am aiming that play together
so i have to rely on internet for my homework
ATC SCM 11 and Dali Epicon 2 look great
room is 5 by 9 metres-hardwood floors---wood panelling walls--with plenty of office files and books
do appreciate your feedback ladies and gentlemen

Gidday from Australia.

The Dali Epicon range are a no nonsense speaker. They are reasonably priced compared to their peers of comparable specification and are beautifully made. Dali do offer great support for their products, especially their reference lines. Totally manufactured in-house. Should they require servicing in a decade or longer they will have the spare parts stock. I have a set of Dali Grands, Grand Vocals and Grand Coupes and know from my experiences owning them from new.

Others here can speak of their Dali Epicon experiences also.

DALI Epicons are indeed very nice speakers, and their entire lineup has a warmer tonal balance than many audiophile alternatives. The Rubicons are one step below the Epicons and a bit more forgiving (not as demanding of amplification) while still maintaining a warm and sweet balance.

The Acoustic signature is nice, was also considering that one before going for the C-Sharp.

Which version are you considering, the XXL?

I was considering the XL. I think the XL and Barzetti are about the same performance level, with the XL just being the newer model. So it's pretty much which one meets your eye better.

does anyone have an option on Triangle signature Theata--the dealer with the luxman is giving these the big sell
