Well, I have no intention of ever buying it, but as one of my favorite products of all time, which I am enjoying more than my prior CH M10 and pre, I can say, if it's close to as good as their pre and amps, those in the market will have an incredibly good option. It's been "obviously" missing from the products offerings.
This company needs more exposure. Truly world class stuff.
Sorry do not agree Jon is a great guy and knows his stuff. Riviera is a small company that builds to order and they make world class gear.Great gear for sure. Their problem is their US distributor.
You are welcome to your opinion. There are many people who take issue with him and how little he actually does for his brands. Also some of the brands have expressed displeasure with him.Sorry do not agree Jon is a great guy and knows his stuff. Riviera is a small company that builds to order and they make world class gear.
Well I am a Riviera dealer and I don't think its non existent as I sell the gear regularly. Im so sick of the BS "some people say" many people have issues" enough with this crap. Its a very small company, they make the gear to order, Jon is a distrinutor and he runs his business as he sees fit.
I now see why many people think your a pain in the ass!
I am not turning on you , Michael you are just wrong. Do you know how long he has represented his lines? I went to Riviera when I first saw it few years back and asked about becoming the US distributor, their answer was see Tone Imports he was their guy and they were not interested in changing. His other lines, most of them he has been the importer for over 15 years. They must really hate him.LOL. Sure Elliot. What ever you say. Funny how people get testy when others talk about things they don't want to hear.
Funny how quickly you forget who was your side re: Massif and how many were against you. You sure are quick to turn on the few people who stood by you.
It's ok, I still like you.![]()

You don't ever want to concede that maybe your feelings are not correct. Innuendo and rumor and feelings are not facts.
not sure what you are asking . The unit however will not be shipping till near year end. What noise? Their products are fantastic and I ve never had any comments with anything they make about noise. Please xplainsure is a nice looking unit. Would be interesting to see how they handle AC noise.

if you require such information I suggest you write to the factory.Nice looking unit. Sorry for not being more clear. As for noise, was referring to the high freq AC noise riding in on the AC mains and the high freq. switching noise generated by the rectifiers during the AC to DC conversion. The main filter caps will not remove all of this. Usually extra small film caps are used to shunt some noise to ground, some designers use several stages of regulation to reduce it. If a high freq scope is used this noise can be observed and measured in mv or uv. The lower this noise is the better the resolution is on the phono stage. Its not easy to get rid of. If the high freq noise can be reduced to below 10-15um the resolution should be improved. 5um even better, but not easy to do.
