Yes, have tried to return to SS a few times with the goal of ease of use but failed each time and returned to valves.

thanks. Have quite a few tube amps from McIntosh MC275, MC60s to VTL MB-185s, VTL MB-125,VAC Phi 300 and quite a few others.
Sources are either vinyl or high speed tape.
