As for the platter speed, each platter's speed is sampled and corrected many times a second and there is a digital readout for each. If they were out of sync the two values would not be the same. It does take a little time for them to sync up (initially) when changing speeds (or turning on the table) and you can see this in the digital display (very neat!).

How long have you had yours Floyd , any issues ...?
 
The only issue I'm expecting is my wife getting mad at me tomorrow when it's both her birthday and mothers day and I can't tear myself away from my LPs.

What is your Kronos replacing?
 
Interesting. The other brand I was considering was TW Acustic.

Congrats again on picking up a great destination table!
