Hi All,
Just joined. I appreciate the camaraderie that I've seen here.
My system:

Primaluna tube DAC

REL T9xSE. (x2)
Cardas Clear Cygnus throughout, (except the digital cable. There's a Clear digital RCA on the way).

Welcome, JDC. I like your system. Being on a former blue collar (and now retirement) income, I always appreciate it when I see someone who has a system of modest cost that gives them enjoyment. I know it's possible - we've both done it.

One thing that makes this forum the best of its kind is that although a lot of the posters here have mega-bucks systems that I can only dream of, they don't talk down to me or anyone else. It all starts with the owner, Mike. Forum members respect him and behave accordingly.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
@Shadowfax , I'm loving the Fynes. If I ever spring for new speakers it'll be farther up that Fyne line.
@JCS123 , Thanks. I've noticed some 'mega-bucks' systems here too. Looks like the forum founder, Mike, has quite the set-up, and shop, not to mention the other Mike ( @Ritmo ). Amazing stuff..
I'm happy in my niche. I've got about $25K into it and am wowed by it every day.
I'm also retired, - or unemployed.

Hey folks, I had to do an 'upgrade, '- pic attached.
Can you guess why?... You might get me into a long rant/essay that has to do with my girlfriend...
J

The answer to the tweak around my speakers is CATS. It's basically a bed of nails.. We have two new kittens that started their early days in a bathtub and have graduated to the kitchen to run around and play. They're almost ready to explore the whole house. I wanted them to know their names, where the food/water/bathroom is, get to know us, etc., and NOT to mess with the gear.. It's all my girlfriend's fault. - (I had to fall for the Cat Lady of Coral Gables)... Fifteen years ago I was living in the Upper West Side with a dog, right by the park entrance on 77th St. I'm more of a dog guy, but have to admit that the kittens are fun and cute. They just better not mess with the stereo. My REL grill cloths look like the perfect scratch pad. If I was a cat I'd tear those RELs apart. I'll update as time goes by.
