I am a music junkie. I also love melodic hard rock, so I guess it would be disingenuous to claim to be an audiophile. My LP collection was gifted to my grandson, but I still own over 5k CDs. Hello, all!

Don't worry about whether you are an audiophile or not. No one owns the definition of that work. Just enjoy the music!

Welcome! We moved to Seattle from the Deep South 2 years ago to retire, and commenced baby sitting the grand. I’m sure glad I was an orthopedic surgeon in my past life. Not sure I could afford it here otherwise.

I haven't heard them. Will investigate. I like Sideburn et al (AC/DC type) to TOTO and Survivor, and everything in between. Lots of my music is from Europe like Victory, Gotthard, Anything with Jorn Lande or Jeff Scott Soto.. (I know he's American)So, So much more.

You're correct. I'm kind of a Motorhead (not the group) and my '02 black baby is now in the hands of my grandson. It was heavily modified, and It kind of got away from me with the power level I couldn't use. It was a great science project for me, and all the mods were done in my little garage, by me. Sorry, no pics, but the very few I have are all printouts. I just am not into pictures.

That's a very telling statement.

The C5 ZO6 stands out to this day as 'the' best performance for the $$ spent on the planet IMO. Sold my '02 this past Spring for 25k, if someone can show me something better for that money I'd be shocked !

I like that stuff I just didn't consider it "melodic". If you check out Amorphis start with the album Halo. It does have some growling vocals.
