I recently bought a brand new ARC REF 5SE and ARC REF 75 so I guess that makes me a fan of ARC.

Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to them breaking in. I also bought a pair of Nola KO speakers which are still under construction at the factory. I hope to have them soon.
That's going to be a killer combo. I believe Harry Pearson had that exact combo when he reviewed the Ref 75 and he loved the combo. Let us know how it all comes together and lots of pics please!

Thanks Joe. I will have much more to say after they have broken in and after I receive my Nola KO speakers. I will say that both the REF 5SE and REF 75 sound damn good straight out of the box. Common wisdom says the Teflon caps need 600 hours to sound their best and ARC puts a 'warning' label in the box of both pieces to tell the owners that.

Your new new system is going to be terrific. I heard the KOs at RMAF 2012 driven by the Ref 75. A wonderful combo. Played clean loud rock and, very delicate classical music passages. The KOs are one of the best speakers in the $10K price point - IMHO. We know how good the Refs 5se and 75 are....
What cables?
You are right, now I remember, they were using the 5SE as well as Nordost wires. Can't remember if the player was a CD8 or 9...
