@Mike, any update on the cables?
The Hurricane is a home run. That’s the one to buy in the new series IMO. However, we felt Tornado to be the sweet spot in bang for buck. These cables are dead quiet and have such great presence. In the store, I’m going with AQ for power and MIT for signal in one room and all Shunyata Sigma power and signal in the other. In the third room, I switch between Siltech (for Avantgarde) and Ansuz (for Harbeth).
Thanks Mike.
Did you try the entry level Thunders?
Any observations on Hurricane compared to Shunyata Alpha or Sigma?
Am I correct that Hurricane is an amp/power conditioner cord and not really designed for source gear?
I just got the new Hurricane High Current cables. I didn't have the time to listen just yet, as my new DAC should only arrive late next week.

You’re in for a real treat. Try swapping back and forth with ANY other power cable. Very noticeable differences. I noticed the biggest difference on the amp, then source, then preamp.
I have some new FireBird HC’s on order. FireBird is just below Dragon (which I also have).

Mike,
Could you describe the Firebird in terms of models, design, conductors and price? Can’t find any info on it.
Thanks,
Ken
