You will love going to a 60" class (diag) from a 50" one. ...And picture quality of course.
 
Just, moments ago, had a new ZT 65" delivered. I bought a 60" last Saturday and decided to go for those last few inches of wonder (um, that sounds a little wrong!) TV is replacing an almost 10 year old Pioneer Elite 50". Watching the playoff games and then the BCS title game Monday night was just awesome. The ZT picture IS all it is cracked up to be. $3K delivered. I hope it goes as long as my Pioneer, which still looks pretty darn good.
 
I bought the Panasonic TH-P65VT60A 3 months ago.It suits all my needs with the smart features and one of the main reasons for buying is that it is the last of the plasmas for Panasonic!It replaces my Sony KVHR36M31 CRT which is still going strong..

Word on the street? I though Panasonic made a public announcement they were getting out of plasma TVs :(

Word on the street? I thought Panasonic made a public announcement they were getting out of plasma TVs :(
 
Hey Myles,

They did. My original post was in April 2013 and I don't think they had quite made it official yet.

Best Buys near me don't have the demo unit on the wall - not sure if they sold it or they just took it down to hang up something else. Glad I got mine before they were gone; I love it. :)
