N-01XD upgrade to SE

Is anyone having a large delay while upgrading to the SE at TAP electronics?

The wait for D1X to SE upgrade is about five months. This is because parts have to built and shipped from Japan.

Isn’t TAP in the Bay Area? There were never riots there (and LA has been pretty quiet the past couple of weeks). My dealer told me they are backed up at TAP, but I didn’t get this sort of explanation. I suppose risk of ICE raids might play a role, but I’ve also heard of TAP often being backed up, well before the current Trump administration. It would be nice to get a timing estimate and they seem either unwilling or unable to do that.

They are in Buena Park which seems to be between LA and Anaheim. Each time I speak to a guy named Sal the answer is always another two weeks.

Right now I don't have that answer for you. I and all of my hispanic brethren are on edge because our friends and family are being treated like cattle. This is very distracting for everyone including our technicians. We are literally running a skeleton crew right now so everything has to move at a snail's pace. I want to say that it will be done soon but that would be a lie. Allow us plenty of time to let the tear gas clear so we can stay laser focused on all of our customer repairs.

Sure sounds like the business is being run with illegal aliens according to what Sal said. Either that or he is using the fear of ICE to excuse production delays.

Seems Esoteric should get involved here. This is inconsistent with their company reputation and brand. They are responsible for their subs.
