I have my new Avenger home :celebrate008_2:

Today I will be setting it up. It's a gorgeous turntable, built like a tank and almost as heavy.

It was a long wait, but I'm sure it was worth it.

Don't forget it will take a week of playing for the bearing, belt and motor to break-in. Don't forget if you can to use a higher voltage signal to break the wire in the wand in also. It'll pay off in the long run.

Congratulations Mark, I am so relieved and very happy you finally received the Avenger.

Congrats, Mark. I have vacillated back and forth about the VPI Avenger. I look forward to your reviews about the TT.

are they using a greased inverted bearing with the avenger like the classic? I cant keep up with all their bearing design changes.

Fantastic news Mark! Really happy for you. Can't wait to hear it! :yahoo1:

Congrats Mark, I was late posting the photos. They are in the first post again.

What a looker Mark! Really beautiful turntable. Looking forward to your listening and usage impressions as you get some time with it.
