Hey guys.

I just wanted to hip you all to a little video that I uploaded earlier this evening. Now before you check it out, I need to clarify that this is a 'just for fun' video! I'm not trying to make any definitive statements with it. Heaven knows I'm in no position to do so anyway..

All the same, I'm pretty pumped about the gear that I mentioned in this video, and would like to share that enthusiasm with my fellow (crazy) audiophiles! So with all of that being said, here it is!:

The products that really impressed me in 2015 were (in no particular order):

Aurender N10, Berkeley Ref DAC, Magico M Projects/S7, Kronos Pro, Siltech cables, Lampizator Big 7 and of course, my Avantgarde Duo Mezzo XD's.

I have the Curious USB cable and I agree with you. It sounds like the best I've ever heard!

Was that Dynaudio Focus monitors in the background?
 
Sean, thank you for that, really refreshing. While it is very easy to like Mike's list and I could add e.g. the upcoming Meitner DA2, the Magico S5 mk2 or the Ayre KX-5/20 and VX-5/20, your list had things on it I did not have on my radar. I also like the better value for money offerings like the Curious USB. And my personal favorites 2015 for just trying them out, are the excellent Ayre Codex, Questyle QP1R and the WyWires Platinum power cables. To the latter, while I am solidly in the Shunyata camp as you can see in my signature, the WyWires Platinum power cables should scare the heck out of Caelin Gabriel.

Well done Sean! I was very impressed with the newly released VPI Avenger. It was being used in a number of rooms at RMAF and it sounded fantastic.

Ern Dog - So you own a Curious Cable? Sweet! Oh, and those speakers in the backround are the Fritz Morel 6's.

Kuoppis - Yeah man, the Curious Cable is the for real deal. That said, I really need to dive further into the WyWires catalog. Also, thanks for the link to the new Senns. One of my goals for 2016 is to better familiarize myself with the personal audio market.
