I've pointed out this bug a few times, but I forget about it now and then. The work around is to first press the font button on the far left, and then paste text from iPad Note app.

Friday night doesn't start for another hour or so. :)

Superb system. A system I could easily see myself building. Love your choices. Well done Bud!

Thanks. I can't believe the changes I have made in the last few years. However, other than for the heck of it, I can't see anything major changing anytime soon.

Looks good Bud. I found the T shirt for you while you are listening on Friday night. This T-shirt will protect you

Great setup Bud! Thanks for sharing.

Wow, seeing the Auralic Vega on the rack it sure looks smaller than I thought it was. I guess all the pictures I've seen of it must have been stock photos with it standing on its own.

Do you find all the individual milled-brass isolation feet to be better than other types of isolation options/platforms?

I like many aspects of this system. ;)

Hopefully your Fridayitis gremlins have been and gone. Afterall, there could be no excuse to blame the power company either given the implementation of your substational solution choice!

Yes, the Vega is smaller, and lighter, than the standard 17" form factor. Last week when I replaced it with the PS Audio Direct Stream DAC I was thinking, "Now this is how a DAC should feel." Unfortunately, the DS DAC, with 1.2.1 firmware, didn't come close to the Vega performance wise. Then it broke, so I returned it.

I can't comment on whether the Mapleshade brass footers are better than other devices since I have only tried Mapleshade. If something works then I stick with it. I do know the Micropoints work better than the Triplepoints, which is why the Triplepoints are now on top. :)

Thanks guys. This is my retirement system, since I used retirement savings to buy it. :)

Where the Hell is the turntable ??

LOL. I was actually semi-thinking of that, but I just can't justify $20k-$30k to get a nice starter table, phono-pre, and cartridge. Not to mention that albums cost double a CD or high-res download.

As an engineer, I appreciate the design and elegance of modern tables, and, as an engineer, I hate the complexity required with a table, and love the simplicity of a file server. So, while I will never say never, I am saving my pennies for the new Q7.
