I heard the Studio2's with my Mc gears they sound wonderful I don't think you are missing anything other than little deeper bass compare to Salon 2.

Are the Classe amps really that cool running that they can be stacked like that? I was looking at the Classe 600 amps for my upgrade, but I was able to get a pair of 3 week old demo Pass Labs X600.5 amps for the same price. However, the manual specifically states not to stack them. They should arrive later today, so I will know better tonight how hot they get.

The CAM-600's run dead cold due to the technology Classe borrowed from the Medical Device industry. They can definitely be stacked (I even called Robert Adam at Classe to confirm). Heck, Mark (MDP) here on AS stuck his in a closed cabinet and he leaves them on 24/7. No problem. Same for the preamp. Dead cold.

My wife is a big fan. I'm just glad she likes an artist who paints things I can actually figure out what they are!

Hi Mike - no idea yet on a TT - but its in the plans. I'm waiting on the phonostage for the CP800 to be released. It's in testing now. They will also be activating the Ethernet for music streaming and so much more. Most importantly they are upgrading the DAC and lowering the already crazy noise floor by 10 more db!!
 
Very nice Mike! Welcome back to the sweet sound of the Revel Ultima 2 line.

Keep me posted on the Classe-Revel sound. Spoke with Mark last week. We are going to schedule an audio session at his home. I'll bring my ARC stuff and listen to the Classe as well.
