I'm only on my third song, but I really like what I hear. Much wider soundstage. Detail galore. Speed and transparency.

I will say, this baby needs to warm up.

Lookin' good Mike! :woot: I'm glad it was more than a vertical move for you. Another piece of ARC gear always looks good in the rack!

Thanks. The synergy is undeniable. I especially like the XLR outputs. Now my TT volume (db) level more closely matches my other sources and I don't have to push the preamp as hard. Quieter backgrounds too it seems.

Mike...congrats! Looking forward to your 2SE vs. Zesto shoot out once you put 300-400 hrs on the 2HSE

And you just started !!!!
Give it a few hours and you will go
Nuts!!!!
So much info in low volume you will

Cyril - I'm not sure the Zesto will last that long. It's a terrific phonostage (Stereophile Class A rated), don't get me wrong. But the complete ARC synergy is undeniable.

I told you so......
ARC RULES !!!!
And you know that 100 hour mark will give goose bumps

I love my arc ref2se paired with my ref 40. 2se beat out a 30k phono stage I demoed.

Thought you might've had a visit from the ups santa claus today ;)
Enjoy the ref 2se.
It is an excellent phono stage. I agree with you that the synergy is outstanding with ARC gear. Nice that it has two inputs and loading can be very specific if you have a cart that needs a custom setting.
A shunyata power cord will make you even happier :)

Only a couple of hours - I had a hockey game tonight. Do I hear anything different? Wider soundstage. It seems quieter overall (as in blacker backgrounds). Bass is better. Goes lower and is tighter. It needs a good warm up.
