My challenge is I've never heard any Lampi so can't move on anything until I get a chance to. Anyone in DFW area have Lampi amps?
Hi Joe, Have you ever heard the Lampi pre amplifier or consider one ?
Sounds like a Parallel Single Ended to me.
A single ended 211 may give 50W. A PSE of 211 will give 100W like a PP.
Arthurs,
Unfortunately the amps are just too new at this point that they haven't made it around the country. We are contemplating showing them at some of the audio shows remaining in 2015 but haven't committed to any yet as I don't even have a pair in house.
I can say the Lampi amps in general are *very* special. I lived with a pair of our GM-70s for about a year and a half as my primary amps and they were fantastic. In fact they received rave review at the NY Audio Show last year and the owner of AVS Showrooms, Peter Breuninger, called them the one thing he wishes he could have taken home... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUCNIbFKcZE (12 minute mark)
No, the more identical the lengths the better. I meant symmetry in internal construction.
