Now I've booked a trip to the Highend 2015 show in Munich.

I will travel with Lufthansa Business at Friday and go back in Tuesday.
I stay at Hotel Anna at Karlplatz.

Hi Wizard,

This sounds wonderful!!! I hope you have a great trip and please give us a full report when you return. I am especially interested in hearing your impressions of the Soulution/Raidho room!

Best,
Ken

It's the HE show already? I wanted to go this year. Guess it'll have to wait next year then.:(

I have been considering going. My wife is still finishing up with a class she taking at that time so I thought I might head over for a few days. When I checked awhile back Business Class was about $7.5k. ouch. I used to be able to get to Asia for that.

On my bucket list. Not happening again this year though so Axpona it will be this year.

Cessaro Horn Acoustics will present their products to audiophile enthusiasts at the upcoming Munich HIGH END 2015 event. They will be world premiering their new BETA-II F-4 large hornspeaker system.

This special four-way system is highly efficient and needs only a few watts to product high volume levels. Cessaro Horn Acoustics employed true front-loaded bass-horn design within their Beta II F-4. In the development of the BETA-II F-4, special attention was given to the newly developed bass horns.

The dimensions quickly make clear that a total width of 410cm and depth of 140cm plus a height of 82cm was needed. Given an appropriate adaptation within the room, you are able to achieve a cut-off frequency at approximately 30 Hz.

The BETA-II F-4 comes with newly developed Cessaro Composite-Horns, which are based on an extremely expensive handmade two shell construction with a special polymer-rubber filling. Drivers are adapted by a CNC-drilled, two-parted and 25mm strong aluminum flange.

Weight is ~73kg for the Medium-Horn and the TAD-Alnico driver with Beryllium diaphragm. In additions, weight is ~120kg for the Low-Mid horn. Overall efficiency is 107dB/W/m and recommended room size is 40 to 100 square-meters. Total weight is around 1800kg for the entire system.

Dimensions of the main system are 54 x 115 x 178 and the Bass horn per side is 205 x 138 x 82 (WxDxH in cm).
