Speaking of Auralic - I have played with the Auralic App for a while. IMO it still needs more development time. One of the features I found missing was searching by file formats / sample ratios - DSD, 24/96, 24/192 etc. The album art also could load faster.

Plus, they should make it more user friendly. Right now, to play an album, you need to press 4 'buttons'. In Jremote one 'tap' is enough.

I have confirmation it is a new E series speaker from TAD.-monitor on stands.

Computer Audiophile - 2014 Munich High End Show
Really enjoyed Chris Connaker's images and comments about Munich 2014 show. Very neat stuff from Aurelic streaming, WIMP and Devialet SAM.
Not sure but it appears also a new TAD speaker on stands might of been previewed. I am awaiting confirmation.http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uOjVQeFuL_U/U3pGQ8pVmDI/AAAAAAAAc5o/nE9JUsvOtK4/s1600/M_736.jpg?? whose speakers r in this photo??

I have and love jriver but this WIMP and Aries seem to allow for for hirez streaming and almost instantous playback from a very large library of music.
Hope it makes it to US market.

These are great pics of fabulous gear and speakers, but leaves me sad that I will more than likely ever get to hear 99.9% of them. There is so much great gear out to choose from but only from a pic and specs in most cases.

I was also miffed that AVM out of Germany was not at the show.

Oh well, back to drooling on my keyboard as I flip thru all these wonderful photos.

AVM was there , with the Gauder Acustic speakers . It was a timed demo though , not an open house .

The Raidho 's sounded great ! The D5 cranked up via the Constellation monos , glorious room filling bass , no issues there . The little X1 acquitted itself very well too , driven by the Rowland Integrated Continuum 2 integrated .
Loved the tone on the Crystal Minissimo bookshelf , a derivative of their Arabesque design ,driven by an under wraps integrated with trickle down tech from their flagship SAGA amps . A most silken , lustrous tone with a golden hue ... Accurate , who cares .... Was one I could luxuriate in for hours . Helped no doubt , by being strung up with a loom of their Absolute Dream Cables .
The TAD CR-1 was shocking in how it drove a big room , a fallacy to think of this as a mere book shelf monitor .
The Magico U3 .... One to dream about :hi:

Sorry, Off topic. Allen, Who is the singer in your avatar?
