Mike, it all depends how one "talk" (better word for me - CON) my better half. I used to have the Mezzo G2 and though its huge and not so attractive, my "last buy" factor saw it thru. Now, I can't use this phrase anymore. I am now using "RETIREMENT PURCHASE". Better be, or I'll be quickly sleeping on the streets of Singapore (sound kinda like one of The Manhattan Transfer's song).

Seriously, The Avant-garde's latest XD series you have is so very nice! Oh well, I am retired. So, better stop talking about speakers, just be happy with mine!

Mike - The downstairs system has grown quite a bit since my visit. It is an awesome looking and, I'm sure, fabulous sounding system. Do you still go upstairs?

Targeting Dec 16 to move gear in. Drywalling was started yesterday, finishing today. Finishers arrive tomorrow. Painting Sunday (primer) and Monday (paint). Ceiling guy Tuesday. Second county electrical inspection Wednesday. Final inspection and CO Friday Dec 9. Carpet is scheduled for 12/12. Again, there could be glitches or scheduling issues along the way. But Vicoustic treatments, furniture, complete equipment move in, speaker setup, etc. won't be finished until late January as my guess. I'm trying to figure out what cables I still need, racks, etc. Some of my Solid-Tech racks arrived yesterday. I will have Quadrasphire and Solid-Tech in the big room.
