Meter Mania!!!!!

But many people are subconsciously happy spending big money on looks, although perhaps they don't question how much the boxes actually contribute to the total cost.

hmmmm......it seems awfully judgmental to be so bothered that others spend money in a way that doesn't align with what you find within acceptable parameters.

Perhaps they do take all that into account and you have no clue what they use as deciding criteria other than to simply want to take a superior and divisive looking-down on how others chose to purchases?

You like NAD with horns. That's cool. I could say "many people know NAD is mid-fi at best and partnering them with horns shows you don't have a very good ear". But instead I respect you like what you like, and it doesn't bother me what you spend you money on or your buying criteria.

My point is, why does it bother people like yourself so much how others decide what is important buying criteria or how much the spend?

It's meant as an honest question as I see posts like yours often and always wonder why people feel the need to behave that way.
