McIntosh 601's + 500T anyone?

Joe you go through more gear than most people go through underwear...

Are you that dissatisfied with each new component or do you just really like changing things around constantly? (serious question)
 
Dissatisfied? No, not at all but some gear definitely does not go together. Burmester on the TADS was probably the worst combo. Everything else is actually very good. I'm just having some fun. My Job 225 is staying. My CJ gear is staying. I think the McIntosh is here to stay. I'll probably start thinning the speaker heard after my Magicos arrive. I play music 6 to 14 hours a day and I LOVE the variety. Life is good.
 
I think so Angel. The McIntosh gear just arrived. Unpacking and setup will take a little while until I get back home. I am very excited.

E - I must admit, I too like the amp variety. Mixing and matching is fun. But if I had to choose just one pair of amps - it would be the D'ags and it wouldn't be close! :)
 
Ha! I appreciate the concern but I'm okay. I actually love what I have now but yes I agree I could probably back off buying more new gear.

Well... at least your Acute 3 DAC (cdp, whatever) has been there longer than 2 weeks... ;)

I've had my TADs for a while. My EAR Acute is not going anywhere unless the Acute 4 comes out :) The CJ gear is here to stay. My Sony 5400 and my ModWright Sony are 3 years and 1 year old already, respectively. We'll talk about the rest. I am not as bad as some people think or some of my fellow members ;)
